Introduction

Welcome to NexGuild, operated by Firebolt Apps ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the NexGuild mobile application ("App").

By using NexGuild, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

For users in Brazil, this policy is intended to comply with the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD, Lei nº 13.709/2018). Firebolt Apps acts as the data controller ("controlador") for personal information processed through NexGuild.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — name, email address, and profile photo when you register or sign in.
• Authentication data — tokens provided by Google or Apple when you choose to sign in via those services.
• Profile content — avatar images and any other content you upload to your profile or game characters.
• Alliance and game content — alliance memberships, roles, decrees, scheduled events, attendance records, and other in-app data you create or contribute as part of an alliance.
• Game screenshots — screenshots of in-game results (such as Rise of War attendance) that you choose to upload for automated data extraction. See the AI & Image Processing section below.
• Push notification tokens — anonymous device identifiers used to deliver event reminders and alliance notifications.
• Device information — device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting purposes.
• Usage data — in-app actions, session duration, and feature interactions, in aggregated and anonymized form.
• Camera and media access — only when you explicitly choose to upload an image (avatar or game screenshot). We do not access your camera or gallery at any other time.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your NexGuild account.
• To display your profile, game characters, and alliance contributions to other members of your alliance within the App.
• To authenticate your identity via Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or email and password.
• To deliver push notifications about alliance events, decrees, and other relevant in-app activity.
• To process game screenshots you upload, extract structured data (such as player names and scores), and link those records to alliance members.
• To translate alliance decrees into other languages using AI services so members across regions can read them.
• To improve the App's features and performance using aggregated, anonymized analytics data.
• To send transactional emails such as password reset confirmations.
• To respond to your support requests or inquiries.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Camera & Photo Library Permission

NexGuild requests access to your device's camera and photo library for two purposes only:

• To allow you to upload a profile or character avatar.
• To allow you to upload game screenshots for automated attendance and result tracking (the "Print-to-Data" feature).

These permissions are requested only at the moment you initiate an upload and are never used for background access, recording, or surveillance. You may revoke access at any time through your device's system settings.

AI & Image Processing

NexGuild uses artificial intelligence services provided by Anthropic (Claude) for two features:

• Decree translation — the text of alliance decrees is sent to the AI service to be translated into the languages spoken by other alliance members.
• Screenshot processing — game screenshots you upload are sent to the AI service to extract structured information (such as player names, ranks, and scores) which is then linked to alliance members.

Game screenshots are stored temporarily for processing and may be retained for a limited period to support manual corrections and audit purposes. They are not used to train any AI models, and they are not shared with any party other than the AI provider described above.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

International Data Transfers

NexGuild operates from Brazil, but some of the services we rely on (including Supabase, Anthropic, OneSignal, and Resend) process data on servers located outside Brazil, primarily in the United States and the European Union.

By using NexGuild, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from those of your country of residence. We take reasonable steps to ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including the LGPD and the GDPR where relevant.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to any individual.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion or anonymization of your account and associated data.
• Request data portability to another service provider.
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
• Object to specific processing activities.
• Lodge a complaint with a relevant data protection authority (in Brazil, the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados — ANPD).

Children's Privacy

NexGuild is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
